Last weekend Hannah danced in The Nutcracker for the fourth year in a row. This is something they start practicing for – and looking forward to – in September.
In first grade, her first year, she was a mouse.
In second grade, she was a toy doll.
In third grade, she was a toy soldier (still the favorite).
And this year, fourth grade, she was one of the gingerbread children, dancing in the opening party scene.
She’s the one in the middle there, dancing with the baker.
Y’all. I absolutely LOVE to watch her dance. I posted a couple years ago about her dancing, and the reminder to be present and soak it all in (click here to read).
She radiates joy on the stage and it is so fun to witness.
Granddaddy and Mrs. RenĂ©e came to Saturday night’s performance and Meme came on Sunday.
It was a fun weekend!
And the following week she had her fourth grade Twas the Night before Christmas musical at school and was in the spelling bee. Busy girl!
So proud of her…and so glad she’s mine!
